New website for Paula Watts Photography!
Hello all! I’m so excited to announce the launch of my new website! Check it out!
I’ve taken some time (behind-the-scenes), between photoshoots, client meetings, emails, taxes (whaaaat, what’s that?!) blogging, bookkeeping, being a mommy to an adorable 2-year old, moving houses, being a wife, killing it at Crossfit (haha.. that last part is laughable), keeping up on social media (what’s this stories thing I need to do?)… okay, clearly a lot… to find and curate images that speak to my style, breadth of work, expertise, and experience. I’ve narrowed the galleries down extensively, but hope it gives my viewer (you) a quick and beautiful walk through my work. My passion.
Enjoy!

Distilleries in Portland | Oregon Editorial Photographer
I recently had the pleasure of working with the Oregon Business Magazine with my good friend and amazing art director, Jon Taylor Carter on a story about distilleries around Portland Oregon. Together, we toured three different distilleries, each with their own unique style and expertise. The three amazing distilleries were New Deal, Stone Barn Brandy Works, and House Spirits. Below are just a sampling of the imagery from the distilleries and the cover magazine shot! I hope you enjoy!

1859 Magazine | Oregon Food Photographer
Below is a recent image taken for 1859 Magazine (on shelves now), showcasing a beautiful Beef Tenderloin, created and prepared by the talented Lisa Glickman, the magazine’s “Home Grown Chef”. If we did our job right, hopefully, you’ll want to look up the recipe and try your hand at cooking a beautiful meal like this! (and if that’s the case, feel free to give me a ring and I’ll come over for dinner!) Joking!
Enjoy!

1859 Magazine | Food Photographer Bend Oregon
I just completed photographing another project for Oregon’s 1859 Magazine. It was a beautiful recipe dish for their Spring Issue, created by the talented Lisa Glickman. (in stores soon) And since I can’t show you the images until the magazine comes out, I thought I would show you some previous recipes Lisa and I had the pleasure of working on together for 1859 Magazine.
The images featured below are from the Fall 2009 and Winter 2010 issues of 1859 Magazine.
Quick side note: If you haven’t heard of Lisa Glickman, I urge you to check out her website (click on the link above) and consider hiring her for your next event as your personal chef. Her meals are DELICIOUS! She is so talented in the kitchen and SO fun to have around!
