Trends Magazine recently profiled a home I photographed here in Bend, Oregon in Shevlin Commons. With amazing talent such as Kirsti Wolfe Designs, Scott Gilbride Architecture, Greg Vendrame Construction, Dansky Handcrafted, Milo’s Metal Works and Classic Wood Accents, this home shines with modern elegance! (Yes, that was one big shout out to the wonderful crews who made this room possible). I was lucky to be hired as the photographer to capture this room’s overall architecture and appeal with elements such as multiple pocket doors, a captain’s bed, built in custom library, and volcanic metal fireplace. Commercial Photographer | Puerto Vallarta Mexico

I recently had the great pleasure of working in collaboration with one of my best friends and fellow commercial photographer, Jessica Grenier for a great company, M&N Luxury Vacations in Puerto Vallarta Mexico. Our job was to photograph M&N’s brand new condo in the Icon Vallarta towers and their new baby girl, the Mystique, a 56-foot Voyager yacht. They are offering this beautiful condo as a vacation rental in PV along with the availability of a chartered yacht (separate or together) and needed architectural and lifestyle photos for their print collateral. For obvious reasons, this was an amazing job and we are so happy with how the brochures turned out (beautifully designed by Flockhart Design, Inc.) Here’s a peak…

Being in Zambia now has given me a little bit of time to actually post some commercial photography work from before I left. It was such a blessing to be so busy right up until we left, but gave me no time to show anyone what I was actually up to. Here’s a quick look at a home I photographed in Pronghorn for Mount Bachelor Design Studio. The home boasts wide open spaces and French country interior design, with flares of antique hardware, country murals and one large industrial sized fan. Thank you MBDS! I love shooting exteriors of homes! I don’t know what it is, maybe the time of day, maybe the boom lifting me 30ft in the air, or the warm glow coming from the inside of the house, but I just love to see a home’s exterior in all its glory! This house in particular, if you remember my last post, was a beautifully built, contemporary style home in the heart of Black Butte Ranch! Makayla Zurn | Headshots | Professional Photographer Bend Oregon

As promised from my “Sneak Peak” post back in May, I have posted more images from my time photographing Makayla Zurn from News Channel 21, Bend Oregon for her new headshots. Makayla is not only beautiful and very photogenic, she is kind and very easy going (the absolutely perfect combination for a photographer). Keep an eye on this girl; she’s a big deal!

For her head shots, we wanted to have multiple “looks” to have variety in her portfolio. We LOVED shooting at The Oxford Hotel’s 10 Below Restaurant and Bar for the first part of her shoot. It’s sleek and classy, and gave a beautiful backdrop for Makayla’s images. Later, we went to an alley that will look quite familiar to the locals here Bend, Oregon. It’s graffiti-ed with some chalk artwork, spreading love and beauty to the brick backdrop and was a great spot for a more casual look for Makayla. The soft, natural light worked great in this spot too, showing her classic, flawless beauty quite nicely.
